Day 1
August 6th … Depart from home, you arrive to Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel located in Miraflores downtown. Overnight in the city.
Day 2
August 7th … Free morning to explore Lima, then in the afternoon we will catch a fly to Trujillo, reception and transfer to the hotel located at Huanchaco beach. Overnight in town.
Day 3
August 8th … We will visit the Pyramids of the sun and the moon, amazing places where the Moche people have built their religious and administration places. We will be visiting the Huaca de la luna which is open to the public only a few years (under restoration). Backus industry helped to restore the place, five amazing different epochs in one pyramid … Optional lunch at Huanchaco beach restaurant. Encountering the ocean (Mama cocha), free time on the area. Overnight in town.
Day 4
August 9th … Excursion to an amazing temple of Chan Chan built in adobe bricks. A beautiful
meditation with the water and elements of creation, touring around the site. Evening - Car ride to Chiclayo 4 1/2 hours, on the way we will visit the famous Pyramid, Temple of the Decapitator founded recently and open to public on 2007, named as the Pyramid of the Dragon. Arrival to Chiclayo at night. Exploring the city. Overnight in town.
Day 5
August 10th … Morning excursion to Tucume site, we will explore the place which is under restoration. A meditation and free time to climb to the top of the hillside named Purgatory. Optional lunch at El Cantaro restaurant in Lambayaque village. Evening …Excursion to the famous museum of Tumbas reales de Sipan which is very interesting and well organized. We will return to Chiclayo for overnight. You are welcome to work with the “Twins” Doña Isabel Chinguel and Olinda Pintado in a San Pedro ceremony at night.
Day 6
August 11th … Morning flowering bath with the “Twins”. Mid-morning flight from Lima to Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel located downtown. Overnight in the city.
Day 7
August 12th … A walking tour of the city. Visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Inka streets, San Blas, and the shaman market … Evening… Free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 8
August 13th … Excursion to Killarumiyoc (Temple of the Moon). We will drive north of Cusco to
the Ancawasi village. We will take a small road to get to the site, and perform a welcome ceremony. Exploring the area.
Afternoon… We will drive to Zurite village and we will see the famous Inka terraces named as Andenes. Picnic lunch. Evening…Car ride to Ollantaytambo, on the way we will stop at Socma the place of the elders … there will be a coca leaf ceremony at sunset. Exploring the Inka village of Ollantaytambo. Overnight in town.
Day 9
August 14th … Leaving 10:30am, Train ride to Machupicchu village, a quick checking-in and lunch. For the afternoon, we will visit the site in a shamanic version. We will do the Hunan Chasqa or Andean baptism. Overnight at Aguas calientes.
Day 10
August 15th …Back to Machupicchu - optional program choices: Photography, meditation, personal work or hiking. Here are the choices …
6:00am …* Temple of the Moon or *Waynapicchu mountain hikes, 2 ½ hours for each of them. We can mixed up both Waynapicchu & Temple of the Moon - 4 hours of hard hiking.
NOW - They give tickets in the entrance gate of the site, you have to collect them by 6:00am
in the morning (only 400 people are allowed in the site per day).
*Machupicchu Mountain, 5 hours hike (hard & demanding), but an amazing climb done as a pilgrimage. Leave between 7:00am to 9:00am latest time because weather can change in the afternoon.
*Inka trail and Inka bridge are quite easy walks, 2 hours round trip. This hike can be done at anytime of the day, no ticket is require.
*Stay on the site. Exploring is highly recommended.
Dinner in town. We will overnight at Aguas calientes.
Day 11
August 16th … 8:30am Train back to Ollantaytambo, Temple of the Winds. We will visit and explore the site and will be working with the 4 elements of nature, a water cleanse ceremony will be performed. Optional lunch and depart back to Cusco visiting Pisac market and Awanacancha, the place of the camels and the weaving demonstration. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 12
August 17th … Free day in Cusco to explore, shopping and visit the city. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 13
August 18th … Depart to Puno - Titicaca lake, we offer a journey visiting several places on the road: such as the Temple of Wiracocha, the God of the Andean people; and Pucara village, this will take 10 hours to get to Puno, stopping along the way several times. Overnight at Chucuito town, nearby Puno.
Day 14
August 19th …We will visit the Charcas beaches on the Titicaca lake, having a blessing ceremony in the sacred waters. In the afternoon, we will see Perca village, to explore the secrets of the ancients … the local people offer us beautiful legends and their daily life. Optional dinner in Puno city. Overnight at Chucuito.
Day 15
August 20th …We will visit the famous floating islands of Uros by boat, sharing a wonderful time with the peasants who still inhabit this amazing place. In the afternoon, we will travel by bus to Sillustani, an archeological site. Here we will do our last ceremony (despacho) to bless our journey. Farewell dinner in Puno. We will overnight in Chucuito.
Day 16
August 21th … Depart by bus to Juliaca airport located 30 miles away. Fly to Lima stop over at Arequipa.
If you arrive early to Lima, a reception & transfers and stay at a day room in a residence house.
Fly to USA at night time.
