SPRING EQUINOX JOURNEY
( 8 days / 7 nights )

Day 1
September 18th  Depart from home , arrival to Lima connecting to Cusco. Reception and transfer to Ollantaytambo village , exploration . Overnight in town.

Day 2
September 19th  10.30am Train to Machupicchu , amazing ride across the mountains. We will check-in and have lunch.
In the afternoon we will take a bus up to Machupicchu site , shamanic version visit . Sun set . Return to Aguas calientes for overnight.

Day 3
September 20th  Return to the site , optional time …Different choices … Photography ,meditation ,personal work or hiking.
Here the choices … 6.30am …* temple of the moon or *Waynapicchu mountain hikes , 2 ½ hours each of them.  ,a mixed up  Waynapicchu/Temple of the moon  4 hours,  of hard hike.
NOW They give tickets  in the entrance gate  of the site., you have to collect them  early in the morning  (only  400 people allow).
*Machupicchu Mountain ,  5 hours  hike(hard &demanding)  but amazing climb done  as a pilgrimage. Leave from  7.00am to 9.00am latest time because weather can change in the afternoon.
*Inka trail and Inka bridge are quite easy walks , 2.00 hours round trip . Any time , no ticket require.
*Stay on the site. Exploring  is highly recommended.
Overnight in town.

 

Day 4
September 21st 8.30am Return to Ollantaytambo , visit of the site named as temple of the winds . Water ceremony .
In the afternoon we will drive to Pisac through the wonderful Sacred valley. Time in the market for shopping .  Later car ride back to Cusco . Overnight in the city.

Day 5
September 22nd  We will drive on the road to Lima for 25 miles before turning into a small path which will take us to Killarumiyoc site ,  peacefull  place  consider as the temple of the moon , exploration and ceremony .
In the afternoon we will go to Zurite , the famous  Inka terraces , exploring and walking over an original Inka trail. Overnight in local families .

Day 6
September 23rd Return to Cusco , check in and begin of the  City tour , Koricancha , markets , san Blas, Inka streets.
We will  overnight in Cusco.

Day 7
September 24th   We will visit the altars of the city located nearby such as  Sacsaywaman  , Chacan named as the temple of the rainbow , Kenko .  In the afternoon we will have time for free to explore the city.  Overnight in town.

Day 8
September 25th  Am Free in town. Pm. Fly back to Lima connecting to USA at night time.

Highly recommended to fly AA 2111 from Miami to Lima , so you arrive early in the morning (4.30am) to connect a flight to Cusco.
